The “Musical Beyblade Stadium” is meant to make you focus on things above your line of sight. This stadium is constructed out of plaster; it is 6 feet in diameter and is over 200 pounds. Inside the stadium are 5 contact microphones, 4 around the edge and 1 in the middle. Then the sound of the Beyblades spinning around the stadium is resynthesized into new sounds and is spatialized around the room to match their movements. The 4 contact microphones around the edge play a consistent sound; the last one plays whatever sound you make into the regular microphone after pressing the button. This allows anyone to put their own voice inside the stadium.
